biscotti dell'avvento

Per me non puó essere Natale senza neve... ma dato che la neve non posso fabbricarla bé, ho fabbricato qualcosa d'altro. Dal tronde non puó essere Natale senza un vero delizioso biscotto Svizzero :)
Un bel pomeriggio dedicato ai deliziosi Milanesini e Miroirs, biscotti natalizi Svizzeri o biscotti dell'avvento. Che divertimento, pensando a quando li facevo a casa in CH.. Di solito questi non duravano fino a sera, hahaha! Specialmente il mio papi che era un golosone, I Miroirs erano anche i suoi preferiti. Mi ha fatto sorridere pensare a lui oggi :)

For me it can't be Christmas without snow.. but since I can't make snow, I made something else.  After all it can't be Christmas without some real delicious Swiss cookies delights :)
An whole afternoon to make "Milanesini" and "Miroirs", swiss advent cookies. It was so much fun thinking when I used to make them back home in Switzerland.. Usually this wouldn't last till evening hahaha! Especially my dear dad, he was such a sweet tooth, the Miroirs where his favorites. It made me smile thinking of him today :)

 Ero un pó perplessa, i dolci raramente mi vengono bene qui in USA.. non sono ancora del tutto abituata agli ingredienti, tipo di misurazione ecc. Ma a mia sorpresa sono usciti veramente  s q u i s i t i! Ah che felicitá!
All'inizio penso che Christian non fosse molto interessato ad assaggiarli.. senza cioccolato sopra niente attira la sua attenzione hahaha. Ma una volta provati ha fatto fuori la prima scatola di Milanesini in un battibaleno. OOOh mi scalda il cuore che gli piace ció che per me é stata una tradizione sin da quando ero bambina.. :) 

I was a little perplexed, sweets rarely come out right when I make them here in USA.. I'm still not completely used to the ingredients, type of measurement, ecc. But at my surprise this came out just d e l i c i o u s! Oh what a joy!
At first I don't think Christian was really interested on trying some of it.. You know, without chocolate on it, nothing can really trigger his attention hahaha. But once he tried one he finished the first whole box of Milanesini in few minutes. OOOH it warmth my heart to know he likes something that for me has been a tradition since I was a little girl... :)
